Sunday School – Bible study at FBNO involves every age group, including our children. Age appropriate curriculum from LifeWay Christian Resources is used during our Sunday School hour. Classes are divided by grades to provide age-level learning best suited for each age group. We conduct criminal background checks on all of our Sunday School teachers. Our teachers come from all walks of life: seminary professor, veterinarian, cardiologist, teachers, architect, and a nurse just to name a few.

R.A.’s (Royal Ambassadors) – On Wednesday evenings our 1st – 6th grade boys participate in R.A.’s, a Bible-centered, church-based, Southern Baptist mission education organization for boys in grades 1-6.

G.A.’s (Girls in Action) – On Wednesday evenings our 1st – 6th grade girls participate in G.A.’s. In G.A.’s, girls:

  • learn what missionaries do.
  • pray for missionaries and their work.
  • discover how they can help other people.
  • save and give money to help tell other people about Jesus.
  • learn about people around the world have fun with friends!

Bible Drill – 4th, 5th & 6th graders participate in Bible Drill which helps them: Increase in knowledge of the Bible. Develop skills in locating Bible books and Key Passages. Memorize the names of the books of the Bible in order and the Bible verses and key passages indicated in the current cycle. Learn how to apply the Bible to their lives.

Bible Drill meets October through April on Sunday evenings. Please contact our church office for an up-to-date schedule.

Education Partnership – FBNO is proud to be an education partner with John Dibert School in New Orleans. Dibert is a Recovery School District school which provides education to children in K-8 in an area very near our church facilities. FBNO has help provide uniforms, cook and serve meals and provide counseling services to the students and families of John Dibert School.
