Ministries

Just as Jesus went about doing good, so we are seeking to do good as his followers. Our ministries are an effort to show God’s kindness and love to people around us. We build our ministries around Jesus’ teaching about the Good Samaritan.

We believe that the good news about salvation in Christ Jesus must be seen as well as heard. We believe that the proclamation of the gospel and the demonstration of the gospel go hand in hand, that a full-orbed and accurate presentation of the message of Christ involves both words and works.

Our ministries reach out to people in need whoever and wherever they might be. We are particularly concerned about our closest neighbors, those who live right here in the New Orleans area.

Anyone may be involved in our practical outreach efforts to those in need of shelter, food, education, medical assistance, encouragement, and love. And all of us can contribute through gifts of time, resources, and prayer.
